25 years ago, the best small music bar/club in Philly at the time, The Khyber Pass Pub, hosted a night for my record label. It was an absolute thrill to see it advertised: MindWalk Records Night.
Now, it's Stanchion's turn! The legendary Washington D.C. bookstore, The Potter's House in the Adams Morgan neighborhood, will host a Stanchion celebration, reading, and book fair on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 2:30 - 4:00pm.
All 6 books will be available to purchase, as will Issue 13 of the magazine. There will be free Stanchion stickers for everyone and beautiful 11x17 event posters are complimentary with every Stanchion purchase of $25 or more from The Potter's House.
Ten superb writers will be on hand to read their poetry and prose from the pages of Stanchion magazine. It will be an amazing afternoon celebrating independent publishing, small press books, and one great bookstore. Please join us!
